1
00:00:17,940 --> 00:00:20,980
The day started the same as any other in this town.

2
00:00:21,400 --> 00:00:24,300
Hot, dry, too bright, and hot.

3
00:00:24,700 --> 00:00:27,680
It looked to be a slow day, which was fine by me.

4
00:00:27,680 --> 00:00:33,580
I had just collared a guy money laundering for the mob, and it had been a long night.

5
00:00:34,340 --> 00:00:38,620
My phone rang, and it was my captain, Delilah Vaughn Turing.

6
00:00:38,900 --> 00:00:41,700
She had a hot case and needed me on it ASAP.

7
00:00:42,600 --> 00:00:46,740
Interpol is tracking a guy, and their intel says he's in town for some conference.

8
00:00:47,280 --> 00:00:48,620
This is a standard pickup.

9
00:00:48,960 --> 00:00:49,340
Oh.

10
00:00:49,700 --> 00:00:52,340
Make sure to gather any belongings he has with him.

11
00:00:52,380 --> 00:00:53,820
I'm sending you the case information.

12
00:00:54,120 --> 00:00:54,540
Oh.

13
00:00:54,800 --> 00:00:56,140
And it's his birthday today.

14
00:00:56,240 --> 00:00:57,400
Don't screw this up.

15
00:01:00,020 --> 00:01:04,020
I was heading to Caesar's Palace, to something called DevCon.

16
00:01:04,500 --> 00:01:05,600
Never heard of it.

17
00:01:06,340 --> 00:01:07,440
The captain said-
