1
00:00:00,890 --> 00:00:05,350
Okay, G700W here from Ham Radio Village.

2
00:00:05,350 --> 00:00:09,810
It's time to close out the village for this year.

3
00:00:09,830 --> 00:00:13,610
We're going to go open to our Discord voice channel.

4
00:00:13,610 --> 00:00:18,150
We'll get some shout out comments there and we will see you next year.

5
00:00:18,150 --> 00:00:19,630
Let's go to Discord.

6
00:00:21,670 --> 00:00:24,630
Everybody in Discord, I guess let's go to Justin first.

7
00:00:24,630 --> 00:00:29,870
Justin, what are our stats for testing this year?

8
00:00:30,250 --> 00:00:32,610
All right, well, yeah, no, this year has been a great testing.

9
00:00:32,610 --> 00:00:43,390
It's been great to work with GLARGVC to be able to roll out online testing from Friday, including today, as well as starting in 30 minutes.

10
00:00:43,890 --> 00:00:53,890
So, with day one and day two combined of testing, we had a total of 33 people either get their call signs or upgrade with a total of 38 elements passed.

11
00:00:53,890 --> 00:00:57,890
So, each element is one upgrade or one license.

12
00:00:58,170 --> 00:01:01,650
And we even had one person go from nothing at all to getting their extra.

13
00:01:01,650 --> 00:01:03,550
So, that's fantastic news.

14
00:01:03,890 --> 00:01:11,730
And then starting, like I said, in 30 minutes, we're going to have 72 people taking their Ham Radio license exams, which is just an amazing amount.

15
00:01:11,730 --> 00:01:15,610
And it's great to see so many people signing up for this test session.

16
00:01:17,530 --> 00:01:18,670
Excellent, excellent.

17
00:01:18,670 --> 00:01:20,890
What about our contacts, FTA and voice?

18
00:01:20,890 --> 00:01:22,350
You got stats on those?

19
00:01:22,350 --> 00:01:24,010
Oh yeah, you know we do.

20
00:01:24,010 --> 00:01:28,730
So, we were operating from Wednesday to Saturday at 11.59 p.m.

21
00:01:28,730 --> 00:01:34,570
We were operating underneath the call sign Kilo 3 Kilo K3K.

22
00:01:34,570 --> 00:01:43,890
And we made a total of 122, and then some more as well, confirmed contacts, like you said, on some digital modes like FTA and on voice as well.

23
00:01:43,890 --> 00:01:55,990
Some of the highlights were contacts from New Zealand, Argentina, Greece, even another special event call sign this weekend, Whiskey H Tango or W8T, which is the world's largest teapot in West Virginia.

24
00:01:56,090 --> 00:02:05,470
So, it was really great to hear all of those who have made contacts with us throughout the weekend and hope to hear other people this week or next year.

25
00:02:05,730 --> 00:02:07,790
Very cool, very cool.

26
00:02:08,070 --> 00:02:18,430
I just want to give a shout out to AIOJ, Eric, organizing everything, getting everything sorted out for this wonderful village this year.

27
00:02:18,430 --> 00:02:24,350
Shout out to all the presenters, anybody who contributed whatsoever to this year.

28
00:02:24,350 --> 00:02:27,570
It's been amazing, especially for being offline.

29
00:02:27,570 --> 00:02:29,790
Oh, I see Eric there.

30
00:02:29,790 --> 00:02:31,870
You got any closing remarks, Eric?

31
00:02:35,350 --> 00:02:37,990
Yeah, I mean, I think pretty much everything's been covered.

32
00:02:37,990 --> 00:02:46,590
But yeah, again, a solid thank you to all of our presenters, all of our attendees, of course, YouBlue for, you know, being co-pilot and all this.

33
00:02:46,590 --> 00:02:54,130
And, you know, super, super happy to see both the turnout, quantity and quality of all the content.

34
00:02:54,130 --> 00:02:58,490
And, you know, we're hoping to be back next year, whether it's virtual or in person remains to be seen, of course.

35
00:02:58,490 --> 00:03:01,730
But either way, I want to have at least twice as much content next year.

36
00:03:01,730 --> 00:03:06,470
So, got some high expectations, but I'm pretty confident in our group that we can get it done.

37
00:03:06,470 --> 00:03:08,110
And thanks, everybody.

38
00:03:09,050 --> 00:03:10,190
Thank you, everybody.

39
00:03:10,190 --> 00:03:14,110
Anybody have any closing shout outs before we conclude for the year?

40
00:03:16,290 --> 00:03:25,110
I would say thank you for the Goons to making this event such a success, especially having a guest that kind of learn a lot because it's their first time going online.

41
00:03:25,110 --> 00:03:27,350
But yeah, thanks to the entire Goon Squad.

42
00:03:30,220 --> 00:03:31,020
Very cool.

43
00:03:31,020 --> 00:03:31,760
Very cool.

44
00:03:31,760 --> 00:03:34,400
I was just amazed by the talks this year.

45
00:03:34,400 --> 00:03:39,740
We had everything from satellite operation to the ultimate van life.

46
00:03:39,780 --> 00:03:41,620
I want a van now.

47
00:03:41,620 --> 00:03:45,400
I want a news van and definitely radio telegrams.

48
00:03:45,400 --> 00:03:48,280
That is just a cool new world for me.

49
00:03:48,280 --> 00:03:52,020
So definitely shout out to everyone, though.

50
00:03:52,020 --> 00:03:54,580
And I guess seven threes.

51
00:03:55,080 --> 00:03:57,400
We're wrapping for the year.

52
00:03:58,420 --> 00:04:00,580
AIG7OOW is clear.

53
00:04:00,740 --> 00:04:03,920
Unless anyone else got some comments as we close out.

54
00:04:06,800 --> 00:04:08,360
AI0J clear.

55
00:04:09,880 --> 00:04:10,920
There we go.

56
00:04:10,920 --> 00:04:12,140
Thanks again, everybody.
