This year, we're compiling audience feedback on the Voting Village speaker track. If you have comments or feedback on any of our speakers' presentations, please reach out via Discord or send an email to votingmachinevillage at gmail.com. Further details can be found on Discord or via Twitter at votingvillagedc. Our next speaker is Philip Stark. Philip Stark is Professor of Statistics and Associate Dean of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. He studies inference and uncertainty quantification in physical, biological, and social sciences. He also sits on the Board of Advisors of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and on the EAC's Cybersecurity Subcommittee. Methods developed by Dr. Stark for auditing elections, called risk-limiting audits, are in law in six states and in pending federal legislation in the United States.
