Hi everyone, welcome back to TinyMike Interviews. I'm your host, Allie, and today we have... Ashish! And you're from... I'm Australia. I'm from Australia, but I'm from Cloud Security Podcast. So, actually, this is your first time at DEF CON, right? This is literally my first time at DEF CON. So, being your first time at DEF CON, what are you looking forward to, and what actually brought you here in the first place? So, we've been running Cloud Security Podcast for three years, and the most exciting place I've been told to hang out for Cloud people is Cloud Village. And, yes, we're here. So, we definitely wanted to be here, and definitely support people, and meet people like yourself as well. And other people in the industry are doing an awesome job. And the thing is, on the internet, there are not a lot of people that are kind of like, oh, well, you talk about Cloud, but you kind of know, I know Allie, but what does that look like in real life? I have no idea. So, this way, I get to meet real people, and fortunately, not on a Zoom call. That's been the best part. So, yeah, that's what I've been looking forward to. Meeting a lot of people, and doing conversations like these is what I'm looking forward to. So, you've been here for a little bit. What has been your favorite part so far about being at DEF CON? And what are you looking forward to? Oh, my God. The number of badges. I feel like I did not know this was a thing until I came here. And now I'm just like, I'm going to walk into each of the villages and get to collect them. Now I know why there were these pictures for, like, everyone hangs these pictures. I'm like, what are those? And like, oh, my God. I have respect for DEF CON now. A new level of respect. I mean, I had respect before, but now I'm like, oh, how many can I have these? Like, even little things like, if you look at this one, it's a Buddhist chant over there. I was wondering what this was. Yeah, and so I was talking to one of the guys over there and this is a Buddhist chant. How cool is that? To be able to, like, have little elements. I mean, I'm a fashion person, so every detail matters, kind of like yourself. So, yay! So, that's why I'm like, I really love the fact that they've got battery-operated these things that are glowing around, walking around. So, yeah, that's what I'm looking forward to. Are you going to do, like, any of the CTFs while you're here? What are you feeling? Yeah, so definitely, I want to part... well, as much as I would love to not embarrass myself, I would love to participate in it and not show my results to anyone so that I don't find that three hours later she's still at the same place where she started before. Oh, I feel that. Yeah, apart from just banging my head. I'm like, yeah, but I'm going to give it a shot. I'm not going to... I'm going to try and embarrass myself in private and try and go. Is there any one talk that you're just like, it's your number one, must go see. What is that one talk? Ooh, for me, I think there was a talk from Rodrigo. He's from Brazil, and there's only a handful of people from Brazil over here. He's talking about AWS AppStream, Amazon AppStream. And that's in here? Yeah, it's in Cloud Village. Yeah, yeah, in Cloud Village. So he's got his talk tomorrow, and yeah, I'll definitely recommend checking it out. So essentially, the reason why it's important is because when you kind of talk about Amazon and everything, everyone talks about the common services and instant response, but he's talking about a service which a lot of people work on, but nobody talks about publicly, hey, how do you work on this? So I'm curious to see what his research came out with when he did instant response for that. And I'm really curious if I can have him on the podcast as well after that. Yeah. So where can people find you? How do you want to be found? And what do you want to shout out? I definitely want to shout out Cloud Village. There's a village for girls who hack as well. I saw that walking over here. I thought I'd definitely recommend that. People should check that out. So you can find us on Cloud Security Podcasts on every podcast platform, every YouTube platform or video platform, LinkedIn, YouTube. The website is www.cloudsecuritypodcast.tv That's TV? Yeah, that's TV, because we're creating our own YouTube for cloud security. And if you want to find me in particular, you can find me at Hashish Rajan, which is the same as Hashish for people who know what that is. Hashish Rajan on Twitter. That's me. You can find me there. Awesome. Thank you so much for coming. Thank you for having me. This is so exciting. I finally got to meet you as well. Yes, of course. Thank you. I love to meet you. Say bye, everyone. Bye.
