0	2380	Hi everyone, welcome back to TinyMike Interviews.
2380	4520	I'm your host, Allie, and today we have...
4520	5280	Ashish!
5740	7140	And you're from...
7140	10160	I'm Australia. I'm from Australia,
10160	11960	but I'm from Cloud Security Podcast.
12140	14540	So, actually, this is your first time
14540	15380	at DEF CON, right?
15380	16940	This is literally my first time at DEF CON.
16940	20000	So, being your first time at DEF CON, what are you looking forward to,
20000	22040	and what actually brought you here in the first place?
22100	24120	So, we've been running Cloud Security Podcast for
24120	26420	three years, and the most exciting
26420	28100	place I've been told to hang out for Cloud people
28100	29420	is Cloud Village.
30200	31760	And, yes, we're here.
31780	34520	So, we definitely wanted to be here, and definitely support people,
34520	36520	and meet people like yourself as well.
36520	38680	And other people in the industry are doing an awesome job.
38680	40700	And the thing is, on the internet,
40700	42000	there are not a lot of people that are kind of like,
42000	44180	oh, well, you talk about Cloud, but you kind of know,
44180	46520	I know Allie, but what does that look like
46520	47940	in real life? I have no idea.
47940	50060	So, this way, I get to meet real people,
50060	51520	and fortunately, not on a Zoom call.
51980	54360	That's been the best part. So, yeah, that's what I've been looking forward to.
54360	55840	Meeting a lot of people, and doing
55840	57860	conversations like these is what I'm looking forward to.
58020	60440	So, you've been here for a little bit.
60440	61920	What has been your favorite part so far
61920	63100	about being at DEF CON?
63260	65020	And what are you looking forward to?
65020	67680	Oh, my God. The number of badges. I feel like
67680	69940	I did not know this was a thing until I came here.
69940	71600	And now I'm just like, I'm going to walk into each
71600	74000	of the villages and get to collect them.
74040	76000	Now I know why there were these pictures for,
76000	78100	like, everyone hangs these pictures. I'm like, what are those?
78100	78960	And like, oh, my God.
79000	81320	I have respect for DEF CON now.
81320	83940	A new level of respect. I mean, I had respect before,
83940	86240	but now I'm like, oh, how many can I have these?
86240	87980	Like, even little things like, if you look at
87980	90320	this one, it's a Buddhist chant over there.
90380	92320	I was wondering what this was.
92320	94100	Yeah, and so I was talking to one of the guys over there
94100	95420	and this is a Buddhist chant.
95600	98200	How cool is that? To be able to, like, have little elements.
98200	99500	I mean, I'm a fashion person, so
99900	101980	every detail matters, kind of like yourself.
102160	103300	So, yay!
103880	105760	So, that's why I'm like, I really
106140	107880	love the fact that they've got battery-operated
107880	109760	these things that are glowing around, walking around.
109760	111220	So, yeah, that's what I'm looking forward to.
111220	113540	Are you going to do, like, any of the CTFs
113540	115120	while you're here? What are you feeling?
115240	116900	Yeah, so definitely, I want to part...
116900	119060	well, as much as I would love to not
119060	121220	embarrass myself, I would love to participate
121220	122900	in it and not show my results to anyone
122900	124960	so that I don't find that three hours later
124960	127000	she's still at the same place where she started before.
127000	129800	Oh, I feel that. Yeah, apart from just banging my head.
129800	131260	I'm like, yeah, but I'm going to give it a shot.
131260	132700	I'm not going to... I'm going to try and embarrass
133120	135160	myself in private and
135160	137160	try and go. Is there any one
137160	139140	talk that you're just like, it's your
139140	141080	number one, must go see. What is
141080	143060	that one talk? Ooh, for me, I think
143060	144780	there was a talk from Rodrigo.
145040	147160	He's from Brazil, and there's only
147380	149020	a handful of people from Brazil over here. He's
149020	151100	talking about AWS AppStream, Amazon
151100	153060	AppStream. And that's in here? Yeah, it's
153060	155040	in Cloud Village. Yeah, yeah, in Cloud Village.
155040	156980	So he's got his talk tomorrow, and
156980	158960	yeah, I'll definitely recommend checking it out. So essentially, the
158960	160520	reason why it's important is because
160520	163340	when you kind of talk about Amazon and everything,
163340	164920	everyone talks about the common services
164920	167100	and instant response, but he's talking about
167140	169020	a service which a lot of people work on, but
169020	171040	nobody talks about publicly, hey, how do you work
171040	173020	on this? So I'm curious to see what his
173020	174960	research came out with when he did instant response
174960	177000	for that. And I'm really curious
177000	178700	if I can have him on the podcast as well after that.
178700	180400	Yeah. So
181100	183000	where can people find you? How do you want to
183000	185060	be found? And what do
185060	187180	you want to shout out? I definitely want to shout
187180	189060	out Cloud Village.
189060	191160	There's a village for
191160	193060	girls who hack as well. I saw that walking
193060	195140	over here. I thought I'd definitely recommend that.
195140	196460	People should check that out.
197100	199440	So you can find us on Cloud Security Podcasts
199440	201400	on every podcast platform,
201400	203060	every YouTube platform or video platform,
203060	205220	LinkedIn, YouTube. The website is
205220	207520	www.cloudsecuritypodcast.tv
207520	209100	That's TV? Yeah,
209100	211120	that's TV, because we're creating our own
211120	213180	YouTube for cloud security. And if you
213180	214860	want to find me in particular, you can find me at
214860	217100	Hashish Rajan, which is the same as Hashish
217100	218960	for people who know what that is.
219080	221360	Hashish Rajan on Twitter. That's me.
221360	223080	You can find me there. Awesome.
223480	224860	Thank you so much for coming.
224860	227160	Thank you for having me. This is so exciting. I finally got to meet you
227160	229560	as well. Yes, of course.
230080	231060	Thank you.
231060	232980	I love to meet you. Say bye, everyone.
233260	233460	Bye.
