Hello, welcome to our crib. This is Policy at DEF CON. Come on in. We have tons of content in the plunge. We have three other rooms where we're going to be doing some really, really cool stuff. We've got couches, people to hang out, kind of chill out in the space, have small conversations, follow up on videos, follow up on talks that they just did, what have you. Winona has a main stage talk. It's going to be amazing. And she's going to tell you a little bit more about what we're doing here. Yeah, I mean, we have three particular areas of interest. We have a series of large rotunda talks way over in the other room, somewhere in that general direction. We have some large rotunda talks as well as talks in the atrium. Some of these are going to be fully recorded and available. But some of these are going to be closed or smaller roundtable formats that policymakers are excited to share some of their spiciest takes with hackers and get some of their feedback from hackers to policymakers themselves. I'm super stoked about it. I hope you guys are too. Can we go see the other room? Yeah, let's do it. So come on in. This is our first room, the atrium. Bo, can you explain some of the features about this room? Yeah, so the atrium is one of two rooms that we've set up here to look like a welcoming environment for people to give lots of thoughts, feedback. We have tons of microphones around the room. We want to make sure that people feel at home and welcome to come in, give their thoughts, and turn this into an interactive conversation. This shouldn't just be one person or a few people talking at you. We really want to have a lot of people coming in, sharing their ideas, and cause that collaboration to happen between policymakers and the hacker community. We even have a giant flag that we had made up for this that is the Policy at DEF CON logo. So full disclosure, on Friday at 630 p.m., we're going to be partnering with Hacking Policy Council in the AI Village to do a happy hour called Hacking Policy in Prompt. So if you like AI and cyber policy, please stop by. So this is our Not-a-Skip area. We're going to be having both open round tables, which are really small format, again, spicy takes on going on these little areas, and then our closed sessions as well. So it's going to be really awesome, and if you're able to secure a spot here, you should. So last but not least, this is the Rotunda, Room 218 and 219. This will have more of the interesting discussions that we've been talking about, and Ray will explain a little bit more. In the Rotunda, we will have sessions that are both on the record and off the record. For both, you can give feedback. Policy at DEF CON is asking for your feedback on every talk and the whole program. So go to HackerTracker, follow the survey link, or if you don't want to use HackerTracker, use the QR code that will be on the screen between talks. We're looking forward to seeing you and hearing your feedback. Thanks! Hello, and we are delighted to be here and look forward to connecting with you. Know that we have all these social media channels. We have at DEF CON policy across Twitter, LinkedIn, Mastodon, and Blue Skies. So please feel free to reach out to us. We are friendly people.
