A fringing reef with a main pinnacle that reaches the surface and a line of pinnacles running parallel to the reef. Between the reef and the pinnacles is a sheltered sandy area where boats moor. It is the first site out of the Sharm el-Mina marina, is usually calm and is rated for beginners; snorkellers use it too.

The main pinnacle reaches the surface. Wannadive gives an average depth of 15 m and a maximum of 25 m; Red Sea Diving College quotes its standard 30 m limit.
There is generally no current, although it can pick up towards the corner in the direction of Temple. It is a moored dive, not a drift (Red Sea Diving College). Wannadive gives about 50 minutes by boat from Na'ama Bay; from the Sharm el-Mina marina it is the nearest site. Wannadive lists boat traffic as a hazard.
